Nicolás Correa shows its FOX-50 milling machine with the UDX head at METAV 2018
Nicolás Correa Group is again at the International Exhibition for Metalworking Technologies, METAV, running from today to 24 February, in the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre in Germany. Correa shows its FOX-50 milling machine with the UDX head, a unique technology in the market that was presented in Hannover at the EMO 2017.
In 2018, Nicolás Correa will participate in a total of six exhibitions on the context of the machine-tool sector. Its main goal is to keep and improve its position as one of Europe´s leading companies in the field of milling solutions designed to work in the most demanding production environments, such as the power generation, automotive, aerospace and railway industries. From today, Correa shows the FOX-50 milling machine type in Hall 15 Stand B51 of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre. The FOX represents a new and innovative concept of bridge-type machine which combines traditional roughing capacity with the speed and precision of high performance machining. It includes a unique system which controls the temperature generated in the vertical axis of the machine. In this case, the Correa FOX-50 model will count with the UDX milling head, a mechanical transmission milling head, with unique features in the market and an unprecedented flexibility with rotation every 0,02º thanks to the double Hirth coupling patented worldwide by Nicolás Correa. The UDX head is able to perform 10,000 rpm (S1) allowing our customers the machining of large and high added value parts with just one head and one machine. Nicolás Correa has worked for several months implementing innovative design and manufacturing methods in order to create a universal multi-operational milling head. Correa UDX milling head is one of the most important developments in the Machine-Tool Sector in the last years.
