The aim of ZERO is to ensure that the machine manufacturers in the consortium offer competitive solutions to the high added value part production industry, thus strengthening their position on the market in their current applications, and opening doors to both new growing markets, which are ordering an increasing number of machines, and new applications on existing ones. ZERO will develop and implement new technologies on demos that enable total control over the process, including and integrating process and monitoring modules into the machine to ensure that risks are minimised right from the initial design of the process and operation. The aim is to offer machines with improved productivity and quality, capable of monitoring the entire process to ensure that defects do not occur, and if they do, that the machine reacts immediately to mitigate and eliminate them.
