D. José Nicolás-Correa received the prize in Madrid
The last 28th November, in the landmark Westin Palace Hotel of Madrid, took place the National Awards of Metal 2019 First Edition. At the event, some companies from the metal sector were rewarded for their contribution on different categories, as recognition of the dedication and effort in one of the most versatile industries on the national scene.
The continuous support of technological development through participation on national and international I+D+i projects, has been the key for the Nicolás Correa recognition, winning an award on this category. At the event, where the prize was received by the Group’s president, there was highlighted the Nicolás Correa investment on this area, since a 17% from the total staff in the company are engineers focused on I+D+i. Their contribution has the objective to offer new services customer-oriented and to develop various programs to set the definition of new technological manufacturing processes adapted to the most demanding environments.
The gala’s aim was to reward the success and excellence of the winners, but also to create an atmosphere where the guests had the opportunity to share ideas, projects or thoughts to promote the sector’s innovation.
