Nicolás Correa presents worldwide the new milling head UDX at the EMO
Nicolás Correa presents its new milling head UDX at the EMO 2017 fair. This universal milling head will revolutionise the machine-tool sector achieving an unprecedented flexibility. This is a mechanical transmission milling head, with unique features in the market.
Also, Nicolás Correa presents in Hannover its developments in the Industry 4.0 with a machine Correa FOX connected though the functionality “Remote Desktop Manager + Heidenhain DNC” with Heidenhain’s stand, together with other 20 machines located thoughout the EMO premises. As part of the company´s commitment with regard to innovation and digitization, the company presents its own development system, DELFOS, which allows to measure a series of parameters previously defined and manage all the information through the cloud to increase the efficiency and flexibility of the processes.
In the Correa’s stand, two milling machines are exposed, which have the latest innovations: a bridge-type machine and a bed-type machine with rotary table. The FOX machine represents the bridge-type concept, with a huge roughing capacity, speed and precision, which incorporates a unique temperature control system generated in the vertical axis. The FOX-50 exposed in the trade fair carries the milling head UDX. The bed-type milling machine, NORMA has a L-frame construction that allows you to offer great robustness and precision. The NORMA-25 with integrated rotary table, which is exposed in the EMO, is provided with 6 axes, 3 linears and 3 rotationals, designed for the production of complex pieces and the machining of several prismatic parts, reducing greatly its preparation times.
