Nicolás Correa will be present at the BIEMH in Pavilion 1 Stand C10
Like every year Correa participates in the BIEMH, International Machine Tool Biennial, which takes place between the 3rd and the 7th of June in Bilbao.
At our stand 1-C10 we will be exhibiting a NORMA PI which represents a new concept of bed type, lateral ram machine with rotary table integrated in X axis. Very sturdy thanks to structural elements with large sections together with an L-shaped ram guided system. It has high precision thanks to the mechanical ram drop correction system. It is a flexible machine suitable for both roughing and finishing operations.
The NORMA PI has a longitudinal travel of 3500 mm, a vertical travel of 1500 mm and a transverse travel of 1250 mm. The rotary table integrated in the X-axis has a diameter of 1000 mm and a maximum load of 7000 kg.
It has a UAD model indexing head, with a Correa patented turning system using a double fixed crown wheel that allows it to rotate every 0.02º, guaranteeing maximum rigidity and precision. Designed to work with a rotation speed of 6000 rpm in S1 and has 33kW and 990 Nm in S1.
During the show there will be live machining demonstrations, showing 3+3 and 4+2 axis finishing operations and high speed roughing.
